I purchased this as an overall protector for my DSLR. It has been on my camera now for nearly a year. It fits snug, and I have had no real problem. My only draw back is that it does attract a lot of dust and dirt. The lens protector is pretty much garbage, as it is big and bulky, and attracts a ton of dirt and dust (something you don’t want near your lenses), so I threw it out almost as soon as I got it. Other than that, it is great. This cover provides that little extra protection for the “just in case.”

The armor fits nicely over the body of the camera. The rubber is soft and feels durable It leaves most everything you need to access uncovered, such as the battery door and CF port. The clear plastic piece that covers the view finder didn’t fit as snug as I had hoped, but still pretty good. The rubber is embossed with all the needed function buttons such menu, drive modes, and ISO. They are quite difficult to see, but if you know your camers well enough, it really won’t matter. They line up perfectly with the buttons they protect. The only signifcant issue with the armor is the rubber protection piece that comes for the lens. Essentially, it is just a lens hood. The issue is that it doesn’t seat well. Meaning, that is seems to move around if bumped or manipulated even slightly. It not a tight enough fit. If you already use a lens hood, you won’t need it anyway.

I use my camera for photographing industrial equipment so the extra protection help to keep the camera from nicks and dirt/grease. It is a good investment for me as I don’t get the lastest camera every year. No need to when this one dones the job just fine.

I am finally satisfied that My Cannon Camera is protected without having to constantly put it into a bag when I am shooting in the house or outside. The cover over the rear screen is great and the lens protector is also well situated for the bumps and drops I seem to always have when using it.

Just received my armor today and love it! I have the silver version of Canon XT and wanted more of a professional look. The Made camera armor fits perfect and gave the camera a complete new look! The armor’s texture give it a better feel and grip. If you have bigger hands, this is a must have (not to mention how it protects the camera from scratches and bumps).
