I bought this battery together with my canon SD790 camera just to learn that the battery didn’t fit. they should have stated it more clearly in the description of this battery exactly which camera it can be used instead of saying “similar models”. SD790 and SD770 are similar models in my mind, but it will not work. If this battery is just for SD770 and the other model, they should say just this two models. Now I have the package opened and I have to find a family or friend who has a SD770 and give the battery to them.

I was pleased with both the item and the delivery.
Thank you.

Bought to use with my Canon S-90.
- Holds the charge (I’ve tried it more than a week after charging it and it was perfect).
- Good charge duration (can’t speak in relation to the official canon one, as I have not timed both of them, but it seems like the same, I never know which one I have in there)
What more is there to know about a battery? I would definitely buy it again, no need to pay extra for “official” ones.

What more can I say; it is a battery. It charged up fast, held the charge for several weeks, then lasted as long as the battery that came with the camera. With 2 batteries, we are good to go for an entire day of very heavy picture taking and reviewing. As a matter of fact, we went out into the Everglades recently, took pictures all day long, even a few short movie clips and never had to take out this battery. Definately worth the money.

The title states the problem. I charged the battery just prior to a weekend trip. Tow days later, when I tried to take a picture, it was dead. Tried again on another, less critical occasion, and again, it didn’t hold a charge overnight.
